ITACA |
INNPRONTA project led by ADASA to design advanced control systems for sewage treatment plants, with fault tolerance and algorithms to optimize processes according to the type of water and its final use. |

RENDIMENT |
Technical report for ATLL. Annual analysis of the economic and hydraulic efficiency of the water transport network, based on data from 200 flow meters, 99 sectors and 10 zones. Includes daily filters, precision calculation, economic and hydraulic performance, conclusions and recommendations for calibrations and leak detection in sectors with low performance. |

PROFURED
|
Location of leaks in Barcelona's water distribution network, through sectorisation, hydraulic models with flow meter and pressure information. It was carried out with CETaqua for the Barcelona water network. |

QUALITAX
|
Water quality modeling in the Barcelona water distribution network This project deals with the development of telemetry and remote control models and systems for monitoring water quality in urban drinking water networks. It was carried out with CETaqua for the Barcelona water network. |
Puig Cayuela, Vicenç | (2007-09) |
CORAL Project
|
Optimized remote control of sewer networks In this project, the requesting research team, together with Clabsa and Emuasa, modeled the sewage networks of Barcelona and Murcia. The optimal control problem for flow control elements to prevent flooding and pollutant discharges to the sea was formulated and solved. |
Puig, V.; Cembrano, M.; Romera, J.; Quevedo, J.; Aznar, B.; Ramon, G.; Cabot, J. | (2000-2007) |
FLOWMETER DATA VALIDATION
|
Validation/replacement of flow meter data in the Barcelona water network. In this project, carried out with the companies ADASA Sistemas S.A. and Agbar S.A., the authors developed a system for detecting and restoring faulty or missing data. This system was designed for the flow sensors in Barcelona's sectorized demand network, and is useful for the operation of the city's drinking water network. |

PLIO
|
Integrated operational planning of water networks Developed by the applicant team, together with the companies Clabsa and Aguas Andinas. A large drinking water network was first modeled and its management optimized. It was carried out for the network in Santiago de Chile with a set of objectives with its own priority: conservation (or security of storage and availability in the network), stability of the setpoints of the actuators and minimization of costs. |

IVHM
|
Integrated Vehicle Condition Management (IVHM) The Integrated Vehicle Condition Management project, developed for the Boeing Technology Research Center (BR&TC), covers the following aspects of fuel cell aircraft performance: the prevention of any incipient failure that may degenerate into a system failure, the use of redundant information to detect and isolate failures, the design of countermeasures to mitigate the effects of failures, the maintenance of degraded control behavior due to failures but with operational vehicle, and online data retrieval and storage for further offline data mining processing. |
