Making Sense Of Nonsense, FP7-ICT-270428, de 2011 a 2014.
i-Sense main objective
i-Sense CS2AC-UPC
In the framework of the iSense project, research group works on the implementation of Fault Diagnosis and Fault Tolerant Control (passive, active, model predictive) strategies in different applications suggested by the different partners involved, as for example, Water Distribution Networks, Robotic Systems and Intelligent Buildings. In case of Water Networks, the case study used in the project is the Barcelona Transport Network (which supplies water to approximately three million consumers, distributed in 23 municipalities in a 424 m2 area) among others (e.g. Environmental Monitoring, Smart Buildings, Robotic Applications). A model of the Barcelona water network which may simulate certain types of faults that may occur in different elements of this network (e.g. actuators, sensors) is also developed by research group, in order to use it as a benchmark by all the partners involved in the project. Furthermore, data validation and reconstruction strategies are also developed, in order to be applied in the applications presented.
