PhD Thesis title: Robust Leak Localization in Water Distribution Networks Using Machine Learning Techniques. Abstract: The current model-based leak localization approach based on the sensitivity analysis is exploited to work with state of the art machine learning techniques to deal with the uncertainty and gain robustness and therefore, performance. Also, a leak detection technique is proposed and a new model-free leak localization approach is developed. Finally, the problem of sensor placement for the proposed techniques is treated.
